I’m finding the use of a conventional keyboard with flight simulator X hard, does anyone know how you should go about linking an xbox controller up with a computer and then using it to contol flight simulator? Do yo need to buy any extra pieces of hardware, or just change your settings?
Thanks

Assuming you mean the XBox 360 controller, you don’t need to buy any hardware – the controller just plugs straight in. However, you need to download and install a driver before doing so.

If you want to use an xbox 360 controller, there is a little adaptor that will let you use a wireless xbox controller on a pc. You can find it here http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows-Pc/dp/B000HZFCT2
