What kind games can an xbox 360 play without a hard drive?

I want to get an xbox 360 but I can’t afford to get one with a hard drive. I want to play games like halo 3 and elder scrolls oblivion. Can an xbox 360 play those games without a hard drive?

Yep, you’ll just have to save the games on your memory unit instead of the hard drive. Hard drives are not required for any Xbox 360 retail games.

The xbox arcade edition can still play every xbox 360 game on the market, the only downside to the arcade version is that you do not have as much storage, and you don’t get to play regular xbox games, so the regular halo and such are out. You can always upgrade later to a hard drive unit. These are around $100 depending on the size of hard drive you get. That’s really the only difference that I have ever noticed. Oh and one last thing, the arcade version does come with a 512 MB memory card that holds a lot of information! I had 6 profiles, and about 15-20 games saved onto mine before I started notice a loss of space.

Only thing is obviously you can’t save..

So you may want to save more money so you don’t have to play the same level over and over again to get to new ones.
